Masinde Muliro-Kanduyi Stadium Nearing Completion
Construction of Masinde Muliro stadium- Kanduyi is almost complete.
Touring the facility Roads and public works CECM Bonventure Chengeck said works are 70% complete and it will be launched soon.
Chengeck said the contractor is expected at the site to finish the structure in the next 6 months time.
The 20,000 capacity stadium will cost Sh 687 million to be complete, part of the remaining areas are just roofing and grassing leveling and track lining.
The inspection carried out by the CEC accompanied by his counter part CEC lands and municipality Mr.Sasita, project engineers and the contractor shows a work well done.
He further said that the completed stadium will attract regional, national and international sports events which will boost the economy of Bungoma county as per Governor Ken Lusaka’s vision to promote sports in Bungoma County.
