DP Gachagua Offers Relief Support to Wanjohi Residents
Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has offered relief support to residents of Wanjohi, Kipipiri Constituency due to heavy rains.
The rains resulted in flash floods and hailstorms, which displaced many and destroyed property.
He said this will help them prepare better for possible future eventualities.
“In times of emergency, it is critical for leaders to support the people, especially those directly and negatively affected,” he said.
“We thank the local leadership, led by Governor Kiarie Badilisha, Senator John Methu, Woman Representative Faith Gitau, Kipipiri MP Hon. Wanjiku Muhia (Kipipiri) for organising this,” he added.
