Governor Rotich Hosts Delegation From Sweden
Elgeyo Marakwet governor Wisely hosted delegation from Hultsfreds Municipality in Sweden who are in the County for an exchange Programme on local democracy and citizen participation.
The exchange programme is being supported by the International Centre for Local Democracy (ICLD).
The programme in the long run is aimed at seeking partnership and collaborations by leveraging on Information Communication Technology (ICT).
The Hultsfreds Municipality, Sweden delegation was led by Mr. Ake Peder Nilsson who is the Vice Chair Hultsfred Municipality Board, Miss. Anna Malin (Head of Tourism & Marketing),Miss.Lisa Eva (Head of Call centre) and Miss. Malin Carmina (Head of Communication).
Present were CeCs Monica Rotich, Alphaeus Tanui, Emmy Kosgei, Purity Koima and Thomas Maiyo among other staff.
