Churches Should Not Be Regulated- Ev. Kubende
Evangelist Roger Kubende Christ for Intercontinental Explosion now says churches should not be regulated.
He says that it’s God who monitors churches and not individuals.
“Churches should not be regulated by the government since their basic work is economy and security for all, God Himself monitors His church and He allows incidents deliberately when He’s about to fix it and do something new likely revival, false prophets are not starting today, they were there, will be there until the adventure of the returning of Jesus Christ of Nazareth,” he said.
This comes after a task force formed by President William Ruto to look into the conduct of religious organizations.
The 17-member team is led by former National Council of Churches of Kenya secretary-general Mutava Musyimi.
The committee members are Bishop Mark Kariuki, Bishop Eli Rop, Archbishop Maurice Muhatia, Judy Thongori, Rev (Dr) Alphonse Kanga, Bishop Philip Kitoto, and Dr. Faridun Abdalla.
Other members are Musili Wambua, Joseph Khalende Wabwire, Mary Awuor Kitegi, Charles Kanjama, Leah Kasera, Nancy Murega, and Wilson Wanyanga. Martin Ndiwa Talian and Maria Goretti Nyariki will serve as the secretaries.
He further condemned the events that have recently unfolded in Malindi, Kilifi County.
“The Killings in Shakahola is exclusively criminal for it involves literal killings and money, let him be handled individually as a criminal who takes advantage of poor desperate ignorant people in the name of faith and others,” he said.
“True preachers driving force is not wealth and financial freedom, it’s gospel to people then God takes care of the details, love of money to anyone even the said prophet is evil. The Apostle’s aim was to preach the last message while eyes above looking at Jesus’ second adventure which caused the greatest revival not compared to the last one coming,” he added.
