Eldoret:26 Years Old Woman Kills Son, Injures Daughter
There was a bizarre incident at Generation area, West Indies Estate in the outskirts of Eldoret town after a woman stabbed to death her two-year-old son.
The 26 years old Cristabel Chebet also tried to kill her six years old daughter and said she committed the act due to stress and depression in her life.
“I have never wanted bad things to happen to anyone and I have been living with my children well but because of the stress that I was going through nobody wanted to listen to me,” said Chebet.
She however asked for forgiveness for killing her son and also attempting to commit suicide.
“My husband never loved the children I came with in the marriage harassing them which made me feel bad and stressed leading to depression,” she added.
“We saw the father running away with a kid and we went to inquire from the house where we found that the mother had killed her son and the daughter was bleeding,” said Grace Anyango a Nyumba Kumi member at the Lower West Indies.
The daughter was admitted to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital where she is undergoing treatment.
