President Ruto Want Kenya Kwanza MP’s to Approve the 2023 Financial Bill
President William Ruto has urged Members of Parliament to approve the proposed Financial Bill
President Ruto has proposed that employees pay three per cent of their salary while their employers will match the amount of finance the housing plan and urged the members of parliament to pass the proposed tax.
During the meeting, housing Ps Charles Hinga gave a presentation on the housing fund and said the monthly contributions will not exceed sh 2,500 for each employee.
‘’97 % Kenyans cannot afford a house therefore there is need for Housing Fund as gives them a chance to be homeowners,” Said Hinga.
During his visit in Isiolo, President Ruto said the agendas that would be discussed during the parliamentary group meeting will include the ways of addressing unemployment in the country, plan on development projects in various counties where he had agreed with Governors on agricultural and industrial parks in each county and markets in each sub-county.
The meeting aimed at strategizing and aligning priorities for effective deliberation even as the country gears up for important budgetary decisions and how ICT hubs will be established in every region across the country to ensure availability of jobs.
“We must be intentional about creating employment for millions of youths. I will hold a meeting with our leaders on Tuesday so as we can agree on how every ward in Kenya will own ICT hubs for the youths to get digital jobs, “the president said during thanksgiving service in Isiolo.
