Moiben MP Launches Adopt a Forest Program
Moiben Member of Parliament Phyllis Bartoo has launched Adopt a Forest program, Sergoit Primary Kaptuli.
She says they intend to adopt a forest in the entire 32 plus secondary schools and 100 plus primary schools in our entire Constituency.
“The journey to plant 1 million trees in Moiben Constituency has officially started, I urge residents to join us in this journey of ensuring this journey is successful by planting trees which will help mitigate climate change,” said the Moiben member of parliament.
She thanked the Ministry Of Environment, the great people of Moiben, Equity Bank, family bank,Eldowas, Redcross,Kenya prisons, Kenya forest service, NG-CDF Moiben for making it
a success.
“To our youths and women groups in Moiben, we are going to source these tree seedlings from you Kazi kwenu sasa… Unda pesa ukilinda Mazingira,” she added.
