CECM Challenges Parents Schools to Continue Nurturing Talents
Education County Executive Committe Member Dr. Janeth Kosgey on Saturday joined parents and teachers for the annual Nursery Sports Day at Greenvale Schools in Eldoret.
Speaking during event, the CECM said sports plays a key role in the growth of pupils.
She also hailed teachers for working towards ensuring learners have the best foundation in their education.
According to the County Executive, sports just like education is a key component for an individuals growth, especially the young learners.
“Sports in education is also important. It enables learners to express themselves, nurture team work and talent at young age,” said the CECM.
She further challenged schools to continue investing in not only education but also sports.
“Education is the strongest weapon and with the nurturing of talents and skills, CBC is very crucial. Let’s continue to nurture the young talents,” she added.
