Hon Harrison Gets Sporty
Member of County Assembly representing the differently abled in Kirinyaga Hon Harrison Kariuki Bundi knows too well the critical role sports play in our general well being.
He notes:”Yesterday I had the previlage of joining Karumandi football team as they competed again other wards. Our team had it’s first match with Gathigiriri ward football team where they beat them 1:0,”
He later joined Hon. Muteti the County Assembly Speaker and Hon. Kabinga( Majority Leader) in a Gichugu constituency drug and alcohol abuse awareness at Kianyaga stadium.
“The aim of the activity was to mentor Secondary school students from Gichugu against drug and alcohol abuse. I later rejoined Karumandi football team for their semi-final against Inoi ward, ” he said.
The match ended with a draw which led to penalty shootout, where Inoi ward won by a single goal against our team.
“I would like to thank our Karumandi football team for their exemplary performance and your future is bright.”
