Governor Lusaka Mourns the Death of a Renowned Journalist

Bungoma Governor Keneth Lusaka has sent a message of condolences to the family and friends of Fred Nyongesa Ongalo, a renowned journalist.

He said the deceased will be remembered for his hard work.

“Saddened to learn of the demise of Fred Nyongesa Ongalo, a renowned journalist who worked for KBC Radio for 31 years. He will be remembered for his popular program “Viumbe Vyenye Uhai” which was greatly loved by many,” said Lusaka.

He noted that the late Ongalo was not only a neighbor and personal friend but also a believer in empowerment and promoted my tournaments which I used to sponsor during my days as District Officer (DO).

“Ongalo was a dedicated, hardworking, polished, and career journalist whose illustrious career left an indelible mark in the lives of many. My prayers and sympathies go to the immediate family, friends, the media fraternity, and the people of Kamukuywa at large. May the Lord Rest his Soul In Peace,” he added.
