Jijenge Credit Supports CBK Stand on Digital Lenders
Peter Macharia Kamau is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Jijenge Credit.
He takes a moment to share with us his insights pertaining oversight of the Central Bank of Kenya over the digital lenders.
“We as Jijenge Credit we are fully behind efforts by the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) on heightened oversight of Digital Credit Providers (DCPs) in the country.
Mr. Macharia also advised the digital lenders to endeavour to comply with the Central Bank recruitment so that they can be given the green light to operate and do business.
Macharia also expressed full support for the finance bill and called upon those who are criticising it to do so in a positive and constructive manner and offer solutions.
