Speaker Muigei Joins Devolution Steering Committee to Assess the County’s Preparedness
Uasin Gishu County will be hosting the 8th Devolution Conference from 15th to 19th August, this year.
The conference will seek to reflect on the last 10 years of devolution and explore methodologies to enhance service delivery in Counties.
Uasin Gishu County Speaker Philip Muigei joined leaders for the 3rd meeting of the steering committee for the conference. We held discussions centered on assessing the County’s preparedness for the event.
With over 10,000 visitors expected for the conference, the County leadership led by the Governor, Jonathan Chelilim reiterated its commitment to providing an exceptional experience for all participants, fostering an environment conducive to fruitful discussions, networking opportunities, business, sporting activities and the exchange of ideas.
