Mwiruti Secondary School Crowned Uasin Gishu Football Champions
Mwiruti Secondary School are the Uasin Gishu county secondary school games football Champions.
Mwiruti defeated their rivals Warreng high school 4-0.
Mwiruti made it to the finals after a vigorous game against the Defending champions Arnesens High school.
They won through penalty shoot outs where they won 3-2 after a 2-2 draw.
Warreng High school made it to the finals after Race Course High was disqualified.
Warreng and Mwiruti had at first rubbed shoulders in the zonal games and in the County group stages.
Mwiruti having qualified as number 2 to the counties, they displayed a high level of football and will head to Laikipia in Nyahururu to represent the County in the regional games from the 18th – 22nd of July 2023
