Governor Natembeya to Transform County Hall into a modern public library
Governor George Natembeya has announced plans to transform the County Hall into a modern public library, recreation park, and cultural center. The facility will be equipped with modern ICT infrastructure, including Wi-Fi connectivity, aiming to improve the county’s status and promote access to information.
Governor Natembeya was speaking during the groundbreaking ceremony for the ultramodern county headquarters in Kitale.
The new headquarters will centralize various offices, ensuring efficient service delivery to residents. The county government plans to construct subcounty offices to further decentralize services.
The governor also aims to complete ongoing projects, such as the construction of the Trans Nzoia Teaching and Referral Hospital (TTRH) and the modern bus park, which will create opportunities for local businesspersons and contribute to the county’s development.
