President Ruto Opens the Newly Constructed Githurai Market
President William Samoei Ruto officially opened the newly constructed Githurai market.
The market is a laudable accomplishment that is set to transform the economic landscape of the area, providing a modern and conducive trading environment for small and medium-sized businesses.
In his address, the president commended the county government and other stakeholders for their collaborative efforts in ensuring the successful completion of the project within the set timeframe. He noted that the project will not only enhance trading activities but will also boost the local economy by attracting more investments and creating employment opportunities.
The market boasts state-of-the-art facilities that include, among others, adequate parking space, proper sanitation facilities, water and electricity connections, and 24-hour security surveillance.
The president was accompanied by his deputy Rigathi Gachagua, Musalia Mudavadi Cabinet secretary Zachariah Mwangi, Alice wahome, Moses Kuria. Principal Secretary Charles Hinga Mwaura, esteemed government officials, local leaders, traders, and enthusiastic residents of Githurai and its environs.
