Governor Natembeya Renames renamed TransNzoia County Teaching and Referral Hospital to the Michael Wamalwa Memorial Hospital
Trans-Nzoia Governor George has renamed TransNzoia County Teaching and Referral Hospital to the Michael Wamalwa Memorial Hospital.
“This hospital, now bearing his name, will serve as a lasting tribute to his legacy and a beacon of hope for the people of this region,” he said.
Natembeya recalls the invaluable counsel, astute leadership, and unwavering dedication he brought to our nation during his time.
“As we reflect on this significant day, I cannot help but Michael Wamalwa Kijana’s pivotal role in advancing the cause of multiparty democracy in our country stands as a testament to his enduring legacy. His vision and commitment to a more inclusive political landscape have left an indelible mark on our nation’s history. With deep reverence, we gather today to bestow a well-deserved honor upon his memory,” Natembeya said.
