NCCK Message to Kenyans As the 2010 Constitution Marks 13 Years
National Council 0f Churches of Kenya (NCCK) has urged Kenyans to familiarize themselves with the 2010 constitution.
According to Veneral Solomon Chelal of ACK church and chair NCCK Uasin Gishu County, this will ensure that they understand their rights and responsibilities since they cannot seek what they dont know they deserve.
“Kenyans should also attend public Partcipation forums and make their opinions and desires known. Don’t allow other people to make decisions that affect your life,” said Chelal while speaking to the press .
The Usin Gishu NCCK chairman urged Kenyans from all divide to condemn and expose injustices committed against any other person since injustice to one is injustice to all.
“Resist corruption by refusing to give or recieving bribes. Corruption and impunity are cancer that we must all stand up against before it undermines our constitution,” he added .
He further said that Kenyans should pray for the Country.
” Let us pray for Kenya to uphold the constitution, to always trust in God, to be just and humble in all our ways so that God can give us peace and prosperity,” he added.
The 2010 Kenyan Constitution is marking 13 years since it was inagurated.
