Meet Nicodemus Makori, the Beneficiary of KYEOP
Meet Nicodemus Makori, a beneficiary of KYEOP Cycle 8.
Kenya Youth Employment and Opportunities Project (KYEOP) is a transformational project that aims to empower and uplift the well being of the youth in Kenya by equipping them with essential training, internship, and business grant opportunities.
Mr. Nicodemus operates a carpet and decor business situated in Thindigwa. His entrepreneurial journey began with the procurement of carpets from both local suppliers and Turkey, which he then marketed on various online platforms.
With the aid of KYEOP grant Cycle 8, Nicodemus elevated his stock of carpets from his previous approach of selling individual pieces. He simultaneously expanded his presence on social media to tap into a broader customer base.
Furthermore, he strategically identified an affordable location, establishing a physical store. This step facilitated in-person exploration and selection of carpets, enhancing the customer experience.
The diverse carpet collection encompasses items such as fluffy bedside rugs, circular and rectangular area rugs, square carpets, and hallway runners. The product price ranges from 1K to 22K, accommodating a variety of preferences and budgets.
These carpets exhibit distinct variations in size, design, and color, catering to the unique tastes of his clientele. To inquire and buy the products visit his platforms Instagram page carpetsanddecor_ke, FB on carpets and decor and TikTok @ carpetsanddecor_ke.
