The Principal Secretary in the State Department of Correctional Services The Hon PS Salome M. Beacco is one Very talented, focused, committed and intelligent leader that the state department is blessed to have.
“The @CorrectionalKE has rolled out wellness programs in its institutions across the country, which are equipped with professional counsellors.
The program is meant to handle mental health issues among the staff and inmates.
Am happy that some of the Officers in charge have also started teambuilding programs to boost up the morale.
I did a work tour of Kakamega Main and Women Prisons and thereafter proceeded to Vihiga Probation Station.
