Governor Natembeya Spends Time With Youths

Uasin Gishu governor George Natembeya spent time with youths hailing from Matisi, Kipsongo, Shantii, Fordland (Fokii), and other renowned informal settlements in Kitale town.

The County boss attentively listened to their proposals and admired the artistic performances they showcased.

“I pledged my support through the Nawiri Fund program to help them unlock their potential.
Furthermore, I urge the youth to uphold decency, shun criminal activities, and foster a sense of community by being vigilant and looking out for one another,” he said.

Through the Departments of Roads and Infrastructure and Health Ntembeya committed to enhancing sanitation and drainage systems.

“My administration remains steadfast in expediting development in informal settlement areas to tackle unemployment and enhance the livelihoods of our youth. I also promised to create a conducive environment for artists to thrive, ensuring their craft flourishes,” he added.
