CS Namwamba Hands Over Kipchoge Stadium to KDF
Sports Cabinet Secretary Hon. Ababu Namwamba has officialy handed over Kipchoge Stadium to the Ministry of Defense for an international-standard upgrade.
Governor Jonathan Bii said it’s a commendable step towards its timely completion, as I have consistently advocated.
“The completion of this 20,000-seat capacity stadium, named after our legend, has the potential to enhance our region’s prestige and attract future sporting events, including the 2027 AFCON bid and other games,” he said
