Eldoret Over the Moon on Kipchoge’s 5th Bite at the Cherry
Their son may have failed in his record attempt, but housands of athletics fans walked back home satisfied that Eliud Kipchoge’s Berlin Marathon victory is a record on its own.
The world record holder broke the tape first in 2hours 02.42, after failing to break his own world mark of 2.01.09 set in the same course in 2022.
