Governor Natembeya Inaugurates High-mast Lights
Trans-Nzoia governor George Natembeya officially inaugurated the high-mast lights in Shimo la Tewa, in the Hospital ward of Kiminini sub-county.
During his visit, he also inspected the footbridge connecting Shimo la Tewa and Cross Road.
“In collaboration with the local member of the county assembly, we have agreed to expand our partnership with the national government to facilitate the installation of a box culvert bridge in the area,” governor Natembeya said.
Natembeya says this is a crucial step in enhancing our preparedness for the upcoming El Niño rains.
“The illumination of our markets has significant benefits, including improved security and extended working hours for the business community. In line with this vision, my administration has allocated funds dedicated to illuminating our markets and streets,” he added.
“We are resolute in our commitment to transforming the landscape of Trans Nzoia County for the better. Together, we are shaping a brighter future for our county,” he added.
