County Celebrates Customer Service Week
The County Government of Uasin Gishu on Friday celebrated in style Customer Service Week 2023, with the theme *Team Service*
County Executive Committee Member for Public Service Management, Elijah Kosgey, led the celebration, emphasizing the importance of serving the public diligently and having a receptive ear to their needs.
“Customers are always key, and you should ensure that you meet their satisfaction,” Mr Kosgei reminded the county employees.
Eng. Lucy Njoroge, County Executive Committee Member for ICT ,Innovation, Youth Affairs and Sports, echoed Mr Kosgey’s sentiment of putting the people first.
She stressed the significance of good leadership, innovative technology, and efficient service delivery in improving people’s livelihoods. “Be positive at work to ensure the smoothness of discharging services through good engagement with the customers. “By serving God, we serve humanity,” she declared.
Ambrose Tarus, Chief Officer for Public Service Management, expressed gratitude to the stakeholders, including Equity Afia, Kingdom Bank, St. Luke and Reale Hospital, for their unwavering support. “Our interest is to serve the public, and we value your feedback,” he assured the gathered crowd.
Director of Communication and Branding, Faith Seroney, extended her appreciation to all the county’s staff.
Seroney emphasized the importance of the close connection between customers and the organization in meeting individual needs. She challenged the staff to embrace customer feedback, reminding them that customers are always right and that feedback is crucial to make changes and further improve.
As the week-long celebration of Customer Service Week 2023 ends, the county employees were inspired to redouble their efforts in providing exceptional service to the public, recognizing that their dedication is essential in enhancing the lives of the people they serve.
