Kenya on Tuesday the 10th of October observed the historical Utamaduni Day which is the New version of the outdated Moi Day.

One leader who is blessed with a heart of gold and a character overflowing with virtues and humility, the Very Honourable Senator Mariam Sheikh Omar from Mandera took a small moment to wish all of us a happy Utamaduni Day.

“Happy Huduma Day.This day will always remind us the inspiring things Daniel Arap Moi did for our country, reminds us of the needs of working together & helping our nation walk up the ladder of success, and celebrating the rich heritage & cultural diversity of our amazing country.”

On the same vein the Hon Senator was once again very kind to remind us that today was also the world mental health day

‘Mental health is a universal human right.’ As Health Committee we are committed towards assuring and ensuring that everyone, regardless of age, socioeconomic class, or background have access to high-quality mental health care and support.
