CS Wahome Meets With Departmentap Heads
The Cabinet Secretary Alice Wahome held a full house meeting with Heads Of Departments in The State Department of Housing and Urban Development – Kenya led by The Principal Secretary Mr. Charles Hinga.
The meeting is key in bringing the Cabinet Secretary up to speed on the department’s progress and also create harmony between the State Department and the Cabinet Secretary as the Ministry continues to endeavor to achieve its mandate in line with Kenya Kwanza’s Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA)
Under the Affordable Housing Program, The ministry has the “200 Units Per Constituency Program” which will concentrate housing efforts at the local level, thus fostering local economic stimulus projects.
On Affordable Markets, Markets are among the key promises in the Kenya Kwanza manifesto and the Government has embarked on efforts to develop markets across the country in an effort to dignify traders’ work environment while boosting economic recovery at the local level.
