Best Care and Love Prepares Children For Future Success- UG First Lady
Uasin Gishu First Lady, Salina Bii, graced the graduation ceremony for Kidiwa Pre-Primary Centre.
She delivered an inspiring message to the parents in attendance, encouraging them to face life challenges with determination, especially for the sake of their beloved children.
The First Lady emphasized the importance of providing children with their basic needs, a sense of security, love, and belonging while nurturing them well to attain better self-esteem, which contributes immensely to success.
Mrs. Marion Birgen, the Chief Officer for Education, extended her congratulations to the dedicated teachers and staff.
Birgen highlighted the essential contributions of the teaching and learning materials provided by Governor Jonathan Bii’s administration to all public schools across the County.
Birgen also stressed the significance of the Governor’s Nguzo number 5 on offering quality education through well-trained ECDE teachers including, building additional classrooms, cloakrooms, and a kitchen to maintain proper hygiene.
Mrs. Rebecca Birir on her part, said the Governor has worked to improve ECDE education, having provided educational materials, given free milk to young learners and motivated teachers through better remunerations.
The First Lady later presented the young graduates with school bags and certificates, marking the beginning of their academic journey.
