CS Owalo Launches Digital Laboratory At David Mbiti Wambuli TVC
Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Information, Communication and the Digital Economy in Kenya launched a Jitume Digital Laboratory at David Mbiti Wambuli Technical and Vocational Training College in Mbooni West Subcounty, in Makueni County.
He saya the Jitume Labs seek to equip the youth with digital skills, and to enable them access market ready digital jobs and also take up e-Commerce.
“As part of this program the Ministry of Information Communications and the Digital Economy (MIC-DE) is working with partners to provide computers and digital connectivity to TVETS.
We are also partnering with digital skills trainers to impart digital skills to the students for digitally enabled jobs and connecting them to available jobs,” he said
