“As the G7 Trade Ministers Summit in Osaka-Sakai concludes, I am grateful for the productive meetings on the sidelines of the gathering that included Honda and Toyota leaders, the Japanese business community, and bilateral talks with Japan’s Minister of Economy, Trade & Industry, H.E @nishy03. Additionally, engaging discussions took place with the @wto Director-General and fellow Trade Ministers from Canada, India, the European Union, and France.
Dialogues centered on mutual benefits, exploring opportunities for market access, foreign investments, technology exchange, and in-country value addition through natural resource endowment. Emphasizing Kenya’s market access, industrial collaboration, and enhanced trade facilitation with @_MITIke and related agencies, we aim to improve our Balance of Trade and foster mutual growth.
Committed to sustainable global economic growth, the G7 Trade Ministers Summit provided a crucial platform for Kenya to contribute to global economic discussions, strengthen diplomatic ties, articulate our priorities, engage in constructive dialogue, and build mutually beneficial relationships with G7 ministers and organizations.
On behalf of H.E President @WilliamsRuto, I extend Kenya’s gratitude to the G7 for the invite, recognizing our country’s strong position on free trade and membership to the Ottawa Group. Sincere thanks to the Government and people of Japan for the warm welcome and memorable hospitality accorded to my delegation. Doumo arigatou gozaimasu! 🇰🇪🤝🇯🇵 #DeliveringThePlan #KenyaIsOpenForInvestment.”
