Governor Natembeya’s Transformation Earns Acclaim
Trans Nzoia County has earned recognition as the most improved county and also securing third place in terms of overall performance and service delivery, according to a recent Infotrak poll report.
This extensive survey, released today, encompassed all 47 counties, 290 constituencies, and 1,450 wards, with a substantial sample size of 36,000 respondents.
It is worth highlighting that in 2020, Trans Nzoia County was ranked 42nd overall, making this achievement even more impressive and commendable.
The CountyTrak tool used to assess the counties consists of twelve core functions with thirty-three key performance indicators and five approval rating questions. The functions include:Agriculture, Health, Education, Roads & Transport, Energy, Water management, Environment & natural resources management, Trade & Tourism, County Planning & Development, Housing, Lands & settlement, Culture & Sports and Social Services. Also covered were Public Participation, Planning, and Management of County Resources.
