Eldoret Aviation Training Institute
The course is designed for those who wish to work or are employed in the mass media environment. The one-year course stresses on acquisition of all relevant information pertaining to mass media Knowledge, skills, and attitudes. The course objectives and contents ensure that the students perform effectively in the fast-growing Information Technology Sector. The pre-requisite is that students will be familiar with the information Technology department of an organization and its Functions. However, students who have commensurate computer experience and interest can undertake the course.
Kenya Institute of Mass Communication Eldoret
The Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC) was established in 1961 and was named the then Voice of Kenya Training School. Its main purpose was to train electronic engineers and technicians for the then, Kenya Broadcasting Service (KBS), which was later rebranded in 1962 as the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC). KBC was then nationalized in 1964 and changed its brand to Voice of Kenya (VOK).
