Kapyego Health Centre receives an Ambulance
Elgeyo Marakwet Governor Wisley Rotich handed over of an ambulance to Kapyego Health Centre to be used during emergencies and referrals.
The Health facility will also receive infrastructural improvement and equipping so that it becomes a model health centre.
The Governor also laid a foundation stone of Kapyego cereal store that will also act as a fertiliser store.
This will be a major boost to local farmers who have been incuring costs travelling to Kapsowar or Kapcherop to access subsidised fertiliser.
The Governor also called upon locals to venture in growing high value crops especially pyrethrum, adding that the County Government would distribute seeds to those who have registered in the coming weeks across the County.
Present during the function included Deputy Prof Grace Cheserek, area MCA Joseph Chebet Loiwalan,CECs, COs and other County staff.
