The Governor’s Delivery Unit (GDU) has embarked on a week-long departmental project preparedness review meeting to assess the progress of ongoing and upcoming county projects.

The meeting, led by GDU Directors Samuel Ereng and Benjamin Wanyonyi Ndiyo, aims to ensure all county departments are adequately prepared and aligned for successful project implementation.
Ereng emphasized the importance of the review meeting in understanding and improving performance to ensure future project success.

“The primary reason for the project preparedness review meeting is to learn where improvements can be made to make sure that the next project is successful,” Ereng said.

The meeting also seeks to align all departmental projects with Governor George Natembeya’s Manifesto and ensure budgetary allocation for all county projects.

“As we gear up to review the progress of the ongoing and upcoming projects, we would like to initiate a readiness review across all the 11 departments in the county,” Ndiyo added.
