Our discussions were centered on various issues impacting both the country and the Mt. Kenya region. I pledged my support to his initiative of eradicating illicit alcohol, a menace affecting the youth in our area.
We delved into Coffee and Tea reforms, addressing crucial aspects of agricultural development. I also brought to his attention the challenges faced by avocado farmers and aggregators due to new regulations by AFA, causing an increase in avocado costs and impacting farmers’ earnings. He assured me of his intervention before the season begins.
In conclusion, I reiterated my commitment to supporting his efforts in uniting the Mountain Kenya region and its leaders, acknowledging the importance of collaboration for regional development.”
