Kesses MP Supports Odinga’s Bid to AUC Chairmanship Position

Kesses member of parliament CPA Julius has applauded President William Ruto for rallying his support behind Raila Odinga’s candidature for the African Union Commission (AUC) chairmanship.

He says as president William Ruto’s foot soldier he supports the move fully.

“The president being a cordial president and a man who means well for the republic of Kenya has come out and said that he will help the opposition leader Raila Odinga to get a job at the AUC. We support him fully,” said the Kesses legislator.

“What kind of a person is our president who competes with someone and after defeating him you get a job for him as Kenya Kwanza leaders we are there to help him and we will ensure he gets the position,” he added.

He further hit at former president Uhuru Kenyatta for backbiting his Raila’s bid to become the African Union Commission (AUC) chairmanship.

“Am disturbed with the former President Uhuru Kenyatta who recently had a handshake with Raila Odinga calling themselves my brother. Now Raila Odinga says he wants the AUC seat and instead of Uhuru Kenyatta supporting him he goes for Jakaya Kikwete,” he said.

“I am now wondering which brotherhood the two leaders had, why the bitterness, he has carried bitterness William Ruto where he disturbed him while deputy president but God and people stood with him and now he is president. Now he is blocking Raila this is sad,” he noted.
