Eldoret Polytechnic’s (P61) rugby team emerged victorious in the Rift Valley Sevens National Finals, defeating Moi University 12-9 at the TENP Grounds. This triumph secures their position as the Rift Valley Champions.

The P61 team, also known as the TENP Rugby Team, dominated the competition with a stellar performance. Their victory marks a significant milestone, especially considering their upcoming debut in the Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) nationwide league.
Coach Sheldon Munoko’s strategic guidance and the team’s unwavering determination proved instrumental in their win. This victory adds to the growing reputation of Eldoret as a rugby powerhouse, boasting teams like the KRU Championship side Egerton Wasps and the National 7s Circuit Division II champions, University of Eldoret (UOE) Trojans.
