“Trans Nzoia Governor Praises Staff, Outlines Plans for Improved Working Conditions”
In a heartening display of appreciation for the efforts of his county’s workforce, Governor George Natembeya of Trans Nzoia took the opportunity during a recent staff meeting to commend his team for their dedication and hard work.
Governor Natembeya attributed his county’s success, notably being ranked as the top governor in the country, to the unwavering commitment of his staff in fulfilling the Ukombozi Promise.

To promote transparency and career progression, “a draft organizational structure and job descriptions have been developed, ensuring clarity in promotion pathways and merit-based advancements within the staff cadre,” emphasized the governor.
He stressed the importance of professional development, urging departments to allocate budgets for staff training to enhance service delivery.
Governor Natembeya also addressed the concerning issue of drug and substance abuse among staff, emphasizing a supportive approach and committing to providing rehabilitation services for affected employees.
Furthermore, the onboarding of dependents onto a new healthcare service provider was announced, underscoring the importance of access to quality healthcare for all staff members.
Recognizing the significance of mental health, the governor encouraged staff to seek help if experiencing stress, anxiety, or burnout.
He concluded by emphasizing the importance of work-life balance and future planning, expressing gratitude for the staff’s dedication and professionalism in achieving his administration’s “revolutionary ten-point agenda” for the people of Trans Nzoia.
