Uasin Gishu County Exceeds Revenue Expectations with Ksh 1.4 Billion Own Source Revenue

Uasin Gishu County has achieved a remarkable financial milestone by surpassing its revenue target, amassing a total of Ksh. 1.4 billion in local revenue. This accomplishment, announced by Governor Jonathan Bii, exceeds the earlier projected target of Ksh. 1.1 billion and marks a historic achievement for the region.
Governor Bii expressed his enthusiasm over this significant feat, emphasizing that it signifies a pivotal moment in the county’s governance and economic trajectory. “For the first time in the history of Uasin Gishu’s devolution, we have reached this milestone, demonstrating our commitment to effective governance and economic growth,” Governor Bii stated proudly.
The governor attributed the success to several key factors, including the vibrant business environment in Uasin Gishu County. He commended the local business community for their pivotal role in achieving this milestone, highlighting their dedication and collaborative spirit.
