Moisbridge Ward MCA Bishop Patrick Kimeli has issued a public warning regarding a fraudulent Facebook page impersonating him.
The fake page, titled “Hon Bishop Patrick Kimeli Kimaiyo MCA Moisbridge,” has been contacting residents, falsely claiming that the MCA offers loans and attempting to hack into users’ Facebook accounts.
In a statement, Kimeli emphasized that this page is not affiliated with him or his official activities. He urged residents to be cautious and avoid engaging with or providing any personal information to the impostors behind the fake page.
The genuine official Facebook page of the MCA is “Hon. Kim Patrick,” where all authentic communications and updates will be posted. Kimeli reassured the public that he does not solicit loans or any financial assistance through social media and advised anyone who encounters the fraudulent page to unfriend and report it immediately.
