Dr. Otiende Amollo Fronted As National Assembly’s minority leader

Rarieda Member of Parliament Dr. Hon. Otiende Amollo, is being fronted as the most suitable candidate to fit into the role of National Assembly Minority Leader, a seat previously held by Opiyo Wandayi, the Nominee for Cabinet Secretary position for Energy.

President William Ruto nominated the Ugunja MP Opiyo Wandayi as the new cabinet secretary for Energy, replacing Davis Chirchir. Hon. Dr. Amollo is a seasoned academician, a Senior Counsel. A Blessed Man, Dr. Amollo is a father to triplets.

Dr. Amollo, undoubtedly Kenya’s most hardworking legislator, has served the Government of Kenya as Chairperson of the Commission on Administrative Justice (Ombudsman) since 2011.
He previously served as the Chairperson of the International Commission of Jurists, Kenyan Section.

Adding to his recognition, he holds the honor of Elder of the Burning Spear of the Republic of Kenya. His handwork and notable achievements have earned him several recognitions.

The position is the third in the pecking order in the National Assembly after the speaker and the majority leader.
Others being touted for the Minority leader seat include: Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo, James Nyikal (Seme ), Jared Okello(Nyando), Babu Owino(Embakasi East) and George Aladwa (Makadara).
