MSEA Conducts MSMEs Sensitization, Capacity Building, and Empowerment Forum in Moisbridge Ward, Soy Constituency, Uasin Gishu County.
The MSEA Uasin Gishu regional office, led by CPA Alton Kipchoge Kogo, North Rift Regional Head, held a successful sensitization and empowerment forum for MSMEs and youth.
The event, attended by over 200 participants, focused on MSEA’s role in supporting local enterprises, emphasizing the importance of formalizing operations to benefit from government initiatives like the Affordable Housing Projects and the upcoming Moisbridge Market.
Three local associations have already been recruited to participate in these opportunities, particularly in welding and masonry. CPA Kogo also introduced key government programs, such as NYOTA and KJET, designed to benefit MSMEs.
He assured participants that MSEA would continue to support local businesses by organizing similar forums across the region.
MSEA plans to visit the remaining 28 wards in Uasin Gishu County by April 2025, in collaboration with various agencies under the State Department for MSME Development.This initiative aims to empower more MSMEs with the tools and knowledge needed to thrive in a competitive market.
