Jude Bellingham denies Real Madrid rift
Real Madrid midfielder sensation Jude Bellingham spoke about the reported tension between some of the La Liga side’s superstars on social media.
In the last week, a number of stories have come out about him and Kylian Mbappé, Rodrygo, and Vinícius Jr. having friction between them, and this hasn’t passed the fans by.
The England international, however, did not take any time to cool such stories, saying there is no truth in them.
Apparently chafed by some ill-gotten rumors, Bellingham has now spoken directly to the gossip in a candid post. “I saw on social media that someone’s trying to create something negative between Mbappé, Rodrygo, Vinícius, and me,” he wrote. “The only truth is that we are very good friends on and off the pitch.”
His comments come amidst a stellar season with Real Madrid, during which he has been instrumental in the early success of the team.
Though one of the younger players in the squad, he’s emerged as a leader on the field and has won himself widespread praise from teammates, fans, and pundits alike.
In fact, his performances have been so sterling that many consider him, already, one of the mainstays in the squad.
The murmur of a schism seemed to focus on speculation about how Bellingham would fit in alongside Real Madrid’s other attacking superstars, with Vinícius Jr. and Rodrygo supposedly under particular threat.
Some even went to the extent of saying that the arrival of Bellingham was to blame, for it destabilized the on-field chemistry, while others pointed at the supposed tension between him and Mbappé-the French forward who has been highly linked with a move to the club.
But now, Bellingham’s latest statement finally puts those rumors to rest, reassuring that the harmony of the team hasn’t changed one bit.
He reassures them of the strong bonding he has with his teammates off the pitch, and that really brings into sharp focus all the cameraderie over these years that Real Madrid has been known for.
With Bellingham putting their fear to rest, Real Madrid supporters can indeed breathe a sigh of relief as team unity on and outside the pitch is seemingly intact as ever.
