I Have Been Denied to Visit Rift Valley: Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua
Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has revealed that he has been advised against visiting several areas in the Rift Valley, including Nandi, Marakwet West, and Bomet. In a heartfelt address to the Kalenjin community, he expressed his deep appreciation for the support he has received from the people in the region.
Gachagua emphasized the warmth and hospitality of the Kalenjin, stating, “I have been loved in the Rift Valley, and these lovely people have no issue with me at all.” He urged those discouraging his visits to allow him to connect with the communities that have welcomed him throughout his political career.
“I will never forget the love you have shown me, even amid leadership challenges,” he added, acknowledging the complexities of regional politics. Gachagua called for peace and unity among communities, encouraging them to focus on what unites them rather than divisive issues.
As he navigates this political landscape, Gachagua requested prayers from the community, emphasizing the importance of togetherness and harmony in overcoming challenges. His message highlights the need for reconciliation and support as Kenya approaches the next electoral cycle.
