15 Years of Trying, Now Blessed with Two Sets of Twins – Nalongo’s Journey
Nalongo had always dreamed of being a mother to twins. Growing up in a large family where twins were common, she believed it was only a matter of time before she would conceive a pair of her own. But as the years went by, the reality was much different.
Nalongo and her husband tried everything. They sought medical treatments, tried herbal remedies, and even resorted to old wives’ tales, but their efforts were in vain. For 15 long years, their desire to welcome twins into their home remained just that a dream.
“I had almost given up,” Nalongo recalls. “The emotional and physical toll it took on me was unbearable. I would look at other families with twins, and though I was happy for them, it made me wonder why it wasn’t happening for me.” Desperation had begun to creep in. Nalongo had heard stories about people visiting traditional healers or doctors who seemed to offer the impossible.
