Bukura Agricultural College has been closed indefinitely due to ongoing student unrest and significant property damage.

An internal memo issued by the acting principal and CEO, Pakl K Njogu, announced the closure effective immediately, following a resolution by the Academic Board.

The memo states, “Due to the recent disturbances and destruction of property, the college has been declared closed indefinitely.” Students have been instructed to vacate the premises by 2 PM today.

This decision comes amid escalating tensions at the college, where protests over various grievances have reportedly turned violent, prompting concerns for the safety of both students and staff.

The management is currently assessing the situation and exploring measures to address the issues raised by the student body.

As the college prepares for an indefinite closure, the future of academic activities remains uncertain.

Students are urged to stay informed through official channels for updates regarding resumption and further developments.
