Students from Paul Boit Boys High School Share Meals with Underprivileged Children
In a heartwarming display of compassion, students Elly Birgen and Remmy Kigen have made a meaningful contribution to their community by visiting the Jesus Love Ministries Children Home during the school holidays. Armed with their pocket money and the support of their parents, friends, and teacher, the duo aimed to share a meal and uplift the spirits of children in need.
The initiative was born out of a deep-seated belief in the spirit of humanity. “It is good to share the little we have with other children who are underprivileged,” Elly remarked. Remmy added, “Many children’s homes struggle to provide basic necessities like food, and we felt it was our responsibility to help.”
Their visit to the children’s home is part of a broader commitment they have made at the end of each term to support less privileged communities. With gratitude, they thanked their parents and teachers for their unwavering support in making this endeavor possible.
Elly and Remmy are calling on fellow students and well-wishers to join them in such charitable activities, emphasizing that collective efforts can make a significant difference in the lives of those who are struggling. Their selfless act serves as an inspiring reminder of the impact that kindness and generosity can have on the community.
