New Staff Induction at City Hall: Building a People-Centered Public Service
In a recent induction meeting for new staff at City Hall, Mr. Elijah Kosgey, the County Executive Committee Member for Public Service Management, emphasized the crucial values of discipline, professionalism, and accountability in public service. Speaking on behalf of Governor Dr. Jonathan Bii, Kosgey welcomed the new employees, encouraging them to familiarize themselves with their departments as they embark on their careers as public servants.
Kosgey highlighted the governor’s commitment to creating an efficient public service that meets the needs of 21st-century citizens, aligned with the Nguzo Kumi agenda. The Chief Officer for Roads, Mr. Abraham Kiptalam, addressed the new staff on behalf of Jelagat Tirop, Chief Officer for Public Service Management.
