Senator Mandago Joins President Ruto at Tobong’u Lore Festival
Uasin Gishu senator Jackson Mandago attended this year’s Tobong’u Lore Festival alongside His Excellency President Dr. William Samoei Ruto. The festival, celebrated for its vibrant showcase of local culture, was themed “Celebrating our Culture in Promoting Tourism, Peaceful Co-existence, and Climate Resilience for Sustainable Development.”
The event that attracted thousands of attendees, including local leaders, cultural enthusiasts, and tourists. Governor Mandago emphasized the importance of preserving cultural heritage and promoting tourism as vital components of sustainable development.
“Today, we celebrate not only our rich traditions but also our collective commitment to fostering peace and resilience in the face of climate change,” Mandago stated “By embracing our cultural diversity, we can enhance our tourism sector and promote unity among our communities.”
