Hon. Rebecca Miano Champions Local Film Industry at “Brood of Vipers” Premiere

Last night, Hon. Rebecca Miano, Cabinet Secretary for Tourism and Wildlife, took center stage at the premiere of Brood of Vipers, a locally produced film by Living Faith Ministries in Nyeri County. Joined by Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahiga, Hon. Miano praised the production as a significant milestone for Kenya’s budding film industry.
Inspired by Biblical teachings, Brood of Vipers was scripted, produced, and directed by local talent, demonstrating the immense potential of Kenyan creatives. Hon. Miano expressed her delight at the achievement, emphasizing that Kenya has all the resources and talent needed to create a vibrant film industry.
“This exciting production is a testimony to the fact that we have the potential to create our own ‘Hollywood’ right here in Kenya. We have all it takes—it only requires us to start,” she stated passionately.
