A Family Pleads For Well-wishers to Pay their Sons Hospital Bill

A family in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County is pleadiing with well-wishers for support in covering the medical bill of their child who has been hospitalized in Top Hill Hospital, Eldoret after suffering severe head injuries.

Speaking to the media, Nickson Ng’eno who is the child’s father and a matatu driver said that the medical bill has become enormous with the interim bill currently being ksh950 thousand and it is still pilling up and may end up summing up to ksh 1 million.

His sentiments have been echoed by Hellen Ng’eno, the child’s mother who has stated that the child has been in ICU for two weeks’ time after the head surgery was conducted and is currently hospitalized in Children’s Ward in this hospital.

“The medical bill of our child has piled up and we are worried that it may hit ksh2 million since we don’t know when the child will be discharged we, therefore, request any well-wishers to support us in covering this bill since am not employed,” added Helen.

This family has in turn opted for a common number through which any financial support from well-wishers will be channeled and in turn help them to handle the increasing medical bill attributed to their child.

“The number to be channeled the medical bill financial support and contributions is 0727497430 and it will bear the name Doughlas Mengich in transactions,” stated Hellen.

According to the family, their child was involved in an accident on 27th May where a tree fell on him and injured his head upon being rushed to Londiani Hospital in Kericho, they were referred back to Eldoret for intensive medication.
